My old glasses need replacing, and I am trying to narrow the frame colors before visiting the optician again. Fit has narrowed the choice to one model, but its brown, grey, and muted red versions look quite different. I usually wear fairly plain clothes, so the frames will be one of the most noticeable colors near my face. One reference I came across while thinking about the choice is personal color analysis and I am curious how people apply that sort of advice to something worn every day. Should the first comparison be fairly neutral, followed by another check with the clothes and makeup I usually wear? I can take a friend along, although I would rather avoid choosing purely on the strength of a phone photograph. I would welcome a simple comparison method for cases where the fit is right and several colors seem plausible. |
